2018 Ford Bronco Review, Release date, Price

After 20 long years, Ford is finally going to offer the public a brand new Bronco model. For those that don’t remember, the 2018 Ford Bronco was a popular SUV that Ford produced back in the 80’s and early 90’s but they ceased production of the 2018 Ford Bronco in the 90’s. But now it’s back and this new 2018 Ford Bronco looks bolder and better than ever before.

2018 Ford Bronco Engine

For the most part, the 2018 Ford Bronco will have some similarities with the F-150 series. As far as the engine specs go, the new Bronco will sport much of the same features as the 2018 F-150. It is rumored to be available in 3 engine sizes: one V-6 version and 2 V-8 versions. The V-6 will be a 4.7-liter power stroke engine and be able to crank out 330 horses while generating 645lb of torque. One of the V-8 engines will be a 5.0liter and the larger of the V-8’s will be a 5.8 liter. They are reportedly capable of producing 420 and 662 horsepower respectively. A 6-speed automatic transmission will be outfitted on the V-6 version while the larger of the 3 engines will sport a 6-speed manual transmission.

2018 Ford Bronco Exterior and Interior

It makes most sense that the new 2018 Ford Bronco will borrow heavily from other SUV’s and crossovers in the Ford family. This means that we can most likely expect a large prominent chrome grill as has been the style with the later generation 2018 Ford Bronco SUV’s and trucks. “FORD” is most likely to be written out in big bold letters in the middle of the grill as we have seen with the larger Ford trucks of 2016. It is also a safe bet that the exterior design of the new Bronco will feature nice LED lights and possible some advanced fog lights.

The 2018 Ford Bronco was never what one would consider a small SUV so there is reason to assume that the 2018 model will be larger than crossovers like the Edge so we can expect lots of passenger room on the inside. The dash will almost certainly feature a touch screen with full navigation capabilities.

2018 Ford Bronco Price and Release Date

The new 2018 Ford Bronco will be built much like the Atlas concept model so you can expect a price tag that ranges from the high $20,000’s to the low $50,000’s. Fuel economy should be within the range of 18 MPG on city streets and 25 MPG on the highway of course engine size will have an effect on those numbers. Ford has been mostly tight-lipped about a release date but experts speculate that we will see the 2018 Ford Bronco released mid to late 2018.
