2016 Nissan Rogue will came with minor changes, since it recently featured big redesign. Trims and options

2016 Nissan Rogue carries over trims and seating options from its predecessor. It is available in three trims, including S, SV and SL. First two trims offer optional third-row seating, while SL variant comes available only with standard two-row seats. Wheel size varies from 17- to 19-inches diameter and optional features are still grouped into three packages of equipment including Family package, SV Premium and SL Premium package. Latest Bose audio and upgraded NissanConnect systems are all part of equipment available for Rogue buyers.

There is no change under the hood of 2016 Nissan Rogue, its engine is carried over from its predecessor and Nissan Motor Company still doesn’t offer optional engines.

2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is base and only power unit good for 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. Transmission remains CVT is standard, which is paired with front-wheel drive, as standard or all-wheel drive as optional.

Fuel economy of the 2016 Rogue is unchanged, but still with highly competitive rates. With FWD it delivers 26 mpg in the city, 33 on the hwy and 28 combined. With AWD it delivers the same numbers in combined ride, but a mile less in other parameters.

When you look into the competitive field of mid-size and compact crossovers 2016 Rogue has some pretty outstanding rivals. The closest ones, by several parameters are Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and GMC Terrain.

The release of the 2016 Rogue is expected in the mid-2015, and its on-sale date will follow, shortly. The price will be approximately the same as for the current model which is priced close to $23,000 (exact MSRP – $22,790).
