2016 Lexus GX 460 Engine Specs

Under the hood the engine has received a little fine tuning and the 4.8 liter V8 is set to generate up to 310 horsepower and as much as 329 lb-ft of torque making it just a bit more powerful than the previous engine.

Fuel capacity has been brought into line to meet the ECU fuel consumption rules. It is now set to return 25MG when on the highway and as low as 16 MPG in the city while maintaining the same level of performance.

It comes with a 6 speed transmission and benefits from low and high gears for off-road driving coupled to a 4 wheel drive system with lockable differentials in the front and back and a limited slip differential in the middle.

This system is what really makes the 2016 Lexus GX 460 better than its other off-road SUV competitors with a better performance and off-road capability. 4 wheel drive and a non-obligatory crawl management system make for a great driving experience that makes short work of tough roads.
