2016 Kia Sorento

South Korean car producer, Kia, is one of the producers that recently surprised us much news. First they presented 2016 Kia Sorento, and shortly after that it released the new commercial bomb, when they hired LeBron James as the pitchman for their flagship sedan K900. Looks like marketing team has been pretty busy lately, and it gives the results. 2016 Sorento is a new generation vehicle, and it features major redesign, both inside and out.

2016 Kia Sorento exterior and interior

New exterior design showed us the more aggressive and edgier appearance that Kia seems to be following with its latest vehicle editions. 2016 Kia Sorento kept trademarked “tiger-nose” grille of Kia, but it is designed in a more modern way, with bolder accents and design tweaks. Headlights are elongated, while taillights are now LED, and rear end also received a roof-mounted spoiler. Kia thought about every detail so wheels are also design specifically in order to circle the design story of the exterior.  Besides styling changes, new Sorento also features size increase, and newest version is slightly longer and wider than its predecessor.

Interior changes are also major. The dashboard has “wrapped-around” design, while the center position takes the large touchscreen which controls the infotainment system. Kia designers said that the main focus in dash design was paid to its functionality rather than the appearance, but we can say that they managed to incorporate both. Numerous optional and standard features are available, including entertainment as well as safety and security. Some of its available features include heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, multi-view camera (a 360-degree), sunroof and more.

Interesting is that 2016 Sorento will be available as a five- or seven-seater, which is great news, since the customers cherish the diversity when it comes to their vehicles.
