2016 Cadillac Escalade comes with two engine options. It will include a 6.0 liter V8 that produces 332 horsepower and more powerful 6.2 liter V8 engine that produces around 420 horsepower. The 6.2 liter V8’s fuel consumption is rated at 14 mpg in city and 20 mpg on highway when using the four wheel drive. When using the all wheel drive, the fuel consumption in city is rated at 15 mpg and 21 mpg for highway. The new Escalade will have a 6 speed automatic transmission. There are also rumors of a diesel variant as well as a hybrid version but nothing concrete has come up on that front till now.

Although there is no official update on the unveiling of the 2016 Cadillac Escalade, it is predicted to be launched in the late 2015 or early 2016. The new Cadillac Escalade will be available in the price range between $72,700 and $77,000. Escalade’s main rival will include Lincoln Navigator, Infiniti QX80 and Lexus LX 570.
