The X5 is a 4.4 liter V8 engine. One of the biggest changes in the engine is the horsepower, increased from 555 to 567, which is sure to please speed-loving masses. Torque has also jumped significantly, from 500/ft to 553/ft. This changes the max rpm slightly, with the peak grunt now between 2,200 and 5,000 instead of last year’s 1,500 and 5,650 range. Still, the extra torque is worth it. Emissions and fuel consumption are reduced by 20% compared to the previous models. That is good news for drivers who are looking to lessen their carbon footprint.

The 2016 BMW X5 starts at around $53,000, which doesn’t include a $950 destination charge. While BMW is silent on when they’ve set the release date, but sources say it should be early 2015. However latest BMW X5 SUV will not disappoint those looking for speed, value, innovation and performance.
